This workshop will focus on best practices of co-advocacy when working with sexual assault survivors who are Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing. Navigating through the SANE process, legal proceedings, medical care, and mental health services is already a daunting task for any survivor, but to compound it with language and cultural barriers makes it almost impossible for survivors to begin to heal.  Participants will learn through interactive discussion of case scenarios to implement best practices.
