Lesbia Orellana
Lesbia Orellana is originally from Guatemala where graduated as a Psychologist. She is currently studying her Master's Degree in Counseling and Expressive Arts . Lesbia has 20 years of experience facilitating support groups, providing individual and group therapy services to Latinos and immigrants struggling with depression, anxiety, victims and survivors of traumatic experiences such as domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, including adult survivors of violence, incest and sexual abuse in childhood and more. She has participated as a panelist, has given lectures, provided in person and virtual presentations and workshops on topics such as self-esteem, self-care, women's human and reproductive rights, sexual violence, domestic violence, child sexual abuse, trauma, support groups, suicidal risks and sexual assault among others. On different occasions she has participated as a presenter at the annual (WCSAP) Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs sharing how better serve undeserved and Latino communities
